To know Lady Pastor Angelina Boateng, or "Mummy" as she would come to be called by many, was to witness the definition of a virtuous woman in motion. She didn't just preach the Gospel; she breathed it into every life she touched. Whether she was standing behind a pulpit or evangelising in the streets, her message was always the same: "It is well." Even in the face of life’s greatest trials, those three words were her anchor, evangelising a testament to a faith that remained unshakeable and a spirit that found peace in the hands of her Creator.

While she was a devoted wife and a mother to her five sons and daughter, Mummy’s heart was far too large to be contained by the walls of a single house. She took her husband’s entire congregation and claimed them as her own flesh and blood. Her home was a sanctuary with an open door, where the table was always set and the warmth was palpable. She was a woman of the "extra mile", nothing was ever truly finished until she knew every soul was comforted and every task was done with excellence.

Mummy possessed a rare, selfless grace that defied circumstance. Even when resources were thin, her generosity remained overflowing; she would ensure the hungry were fed and the weary were looked after, often putting the needs of her community above her own comfort. She lived her life as a poured-out offering, tireless and fierce in her love. Today, though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in her favourite phrase. Because of the legacy she left behind and the lives she transformed, we can truly say, 'It is well.'
