An embodiment of God’s Love

I first got to know you as Pastor Angelina, and later, I came to know you as Mommy. Meeting you in both roles made it so easy to follow the God you knew, because your character truly embodied the love of Christ.

Your consistency, both on the pulpit and in your personal life, taught me that when you are called, your character matters just as much as your words. It is through that kind of integrity that people are able to receive the gospel, because they see that the person who preaches it is also the person who lives it.

I remember the first time I heard you speak at Girls Chat. Your calmness, love, and wisdom reminded me so much of my mom. Every conversation we had, whether on the phone or in person, you reminded me of the importance of fulfilling my purpose, keeping my home, honoring the priesthood, and loving people genuinely, the way God loves us.

You always ended our conversations the same way: “My maidservant, can you pray for me?” I would pray for you, you would pray for me, and then you would close with the words that meant everything: “I love you, girl.”

Your emphasis on keeping the priesthood in the home, and on never allowing the past to keep us stuck from God’s future plans, truly changed me. Because of what you taught me, and because of the life you lived, I will do the same and even more.

You were such a breath of fresh air, and your legacy will forever live in through us! As we continue the race ! Until we meet again It’s well !

Love Nhyira

Sincerely,
